Our areas of practice in the entertainment industry are wide ranging. These include Film, TV, Music, Publishing, Theatre, Photography, Animation, Branding, Fashion, Design, Art, Internet and Advertising.

Although each area of the entertainment industry has its own specific customs, rules, unions, techniques and strategies, given the nature of the entertainment industry today, the traditional dichotomy between the traditional areas of entertainment law and content platforms is being eroded. This means that we find ourselves dealing for one client from a particular area of entertainment law with matters which involve a range of other areas.

Given the nature of our clients activities, our practice not only handles questions of intellectual property (such as copyright, trademarks, the right of “publicity” etc.) but also questions of employment law, insurance, rights clearance, product placement, advertising, private international law and other legal practice areas.

Although most of our work involves advice, contract drafting, and negotiation, some situations may lead to litigation or arbitration.
